Nene Lonergan is a comic artist and illustrator. She is ethnically Thai/Chinese and is based in Ireland. She has a BA in Animation and Motion Design from the Limerick School of Art and Design. She has been nominated for an IGNATZ Award, an Angouleme Award, a Premios Eco de Literatura Award and the Le Blanc prize and is the winner of the Irish Institute of Design’s Graduate Award in 2023 for illustration.
Her works can be found in the HOME Anthology, the OPArt: Out of Place Artefacts anthology, the Inis Magazine, and a couple of soon-to-be graphic novels she is not yet allowed to talk about.
Nene is currently represented by Philippa Milnes-Smith at the Soho Agency.
